MGM Actress Arlene Dahl’s Rockland Home Lists for $6.5 Million

The MGM contract star and her husband, perfume bottle designer Marc Rosen, have used the Italianate Victorian as a weekend retreat since the mid-1980s.

Description: Known as Treetops, this Italianate Victorian has been the weekend home of actress and former MGM contract star Arlene Dahl and her sixth husband, perfume bottle designer Marc Rosen, since the mid-1980s.

Hollywood stars who have wined and dined at their Rockland County estate over the years include Liza Minnelli, Joan Rivers, Helen Hayes, Joan Collins and Ginger Rogers. Dahl, the flame-haired star of two dozen movies in the 1940s and ’50s, has written 15 books on beauty and astrology, including Always Ask a Man: Arlene Dahl’s Key to Femininity in 1965. Starting in 1951 and running for 20 years, she wrote a three-times-a-week syndicated column on beauty.
